At Millennium Martial Arts we teach valuable techniques to defend against any kind of weapons such as; knives, sticks, guns, swords and any other weapons. Our classes incorporates strengthening exercises, drills and techniques against other weapons as well as forms (Katas).
Weapons training improves balance, strength, flexibility, dexterity, agility, confidence and motor skills. Weapons training offers a unique way to train on your own if you don't have a partner.
At Millennium Martial Arts School for Children and Adults in our Vaughan location we teach the following weapons incorporated in our Karate, Aikido, Jujitsu or Jiu Jitsu classes: For example in our Aikido Classes we teach Sword and Staff exercises for Aikido students, which contain much of the normal curriculum of traditional Iaido and Kenjutsu. In Jujitsu or Jiu Jitsu classes we teach Sword, Tanbo (2ft.), Hanbo (3ft), Bo (6ft.) Staff and in Karate we teach BO and Nunchaku. Other traditional weapons for self defense that we teach are:
